4th Dan (Yondan) awarded by the Dai Nihon Iaido Renmei. The recipient is expected to fully understand the intermediate level of iaido practice. The recipient may be eligible from two years after taking 3rd Dan.
The patch for 4th Dan is a white base with black writing and a purple horizontal stripe.
